Daarnhouwer’s Visit to Indokom Situbondo: Strengthening Global Coffee Ties

Hello, coffee lovers and professionals!

We at PT Indokom Citra Persada are very pleased to share the latest updates from our facilities in Situbondo. We recently had a special visit from the Daarnhouwer team, one of the world’s leading coffee buyers with a long history and strong reputation in the quality coffee trade.

Daarnhouwer’s visit to Situbondo was an important validation for us. This is a golden opportunity to demonstrate firsthand how our commitment to quality, sustainability and traceability comes to life in every coffee bean we process. The Daarnhouwer team was taken on a tour to see all of our operations, starting from receiving coffee beans from partner farmers, the careful sorting process, the use of modern processing technology, to the storage facilities in our warehouse which meet international standards. We are proud to be able to demonstrate every stage of the process we carry out with precision.

In a warm and productive discussion atmosphere, Saimi Saleh as President of the Indokom Group also welcomed and explained Indokom’s vision in bringing Indonesian specialty coffee to the global market. He emphasized the importance of transparent and sustainable partnerships, as well as how Indokom continues to invest in best practices to ensure the best quality and positive impact for the farming community.

Our discussion also went into depth regarding our robust traceability system. We explain how we can trace the origins of each batch of coffee, from its original plantation to its arrival at our facility. This gives Daarnhouwer full confidence that the coffee they obtain from Indokom is an ethical, transparent and responsible product. Our commitment to sustainable practices, both environmentally and socially, is also a key topic that is highly valued by the Daarnhouwer team.

This visit further strengthens the relationship between Indokom Citra Persada and Daarnhouwer. This paves the way for closer collaboration in the future, allowing us to continue expanding our coffee export reach and meet global demand for Indonesian specialty coffee. We are very grateful for Daarnhouwer’s visit and are optimistic to continue to innovate and present the best from our specialty coffee beans.
